Punk has always been more than a music genre. It was a counter-culture that took the ’70s by storm and enabled a generation to express themselves without deference, to invent without fear  and to create without boundaries.

“Punk isn’t about a guitar chord, haircut or dress code. It’s about attitude.” – Jeff Horton

In celebration of 40 years of Punk, a year long programme of gigs, exhibitions and films will look back at the excitement and energy of punk culture. These events will also take a look at how the subculture continues to inspire and push boundaries to this day.

Events celebrating Punk will take place up and down the UK across 2016. London announcements are now live, click here to find out more.
